2025 Astrology for the Revolution: Pluto in Aquarius
The first in a series examining the power-shifting astrology of 2025
The stars point to a lot of change coming in 2025. I believe these are the seeds being planted for the revolution that is going to grow in the coming years, especially under this fuck ass presidency. I’m going to do a series of takes on the most potent astrology in the coming year.
If you don’t know about astrological terms and whatnot, don’t worry about it because I like to explain astrology in a way that the people can understand!!!! Literally give me feedback on if this is working for you and we will collaborate together. 😉 Ok here we go.
For the first installment in this series, let’s dive into…
Pluto Energy
Pluto is the last known planet in our solar system and therefore, astrologically speaking, it packs a punch. Although scientists reduced its categorization to a dwarf planet in 2006, astrologers know this does not reduce its impact on us.
Anything Pluto touches transforms radically and changes fully. In fact, America has been going through its Pluto Returns – which happens approximately every 250 years, around the same timeframe that empires have been known to fall (devilish smile). With this latest election, we’ve reached that point. This is the end of America as we know it. It’s written in the stars.
Pluto in astrology represents the ego death that is a necessity for radical change to happen as a spiritual being. This death and rebirth cycle is the deep stuff of life that is hard to confront, experience, or talk about but is necessary for us to grow as a species. The only way real transformation can happen is by destroying what was there before. Transformation is very Tower card energy from the tarot – even if you don’t want it to, change will happen when it needs to happen. Lightning will strike and blow up your old life. You can’t outrun the change. You must embrace the change to survive. All of the white colonizers that created America are rolling their graves because their schemes are coming to an end.
Challenging Capitalism: Pluto in Capricorn
For the past 16 years, Pluto was in the sign of Capricorn. In the zodiac, Capricorn represents the system and structures we live within, so that means this era was about transforming the capitalist structures the country has been built on. Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, bringing with it the financial crash and Great Recession. I told you! Pluto does not fuck around. The Pluto in Capricorn era was a time of exposing the fraudulent systems put in place by those colonizers, forcing us to face the facts that this system was not built for us – it was built for rich land and slave owning white men of the 18th century and their kin.
We ended Pluto in Capricorn with a lying scheming convicted criminal reality TV star winning the U.S. election! The final trick of Pluto in Capricorn was pulling in the dumbest, orangest, stockbroker-ass-dude to run the sinking ship that is the “greatest nation” of our time. No doubt he’ll steer the ship straight into the ground. And there it is: the exact energy we’re talking about. Pluto will destroy what was there before so we can build anew.
I have faith that things are going to turn around. They will get worse before they get better, as they always do. But now that Pluto is in Aquarius, the sign of the people and collective, the power will shift from the billionaires to the people. When the world is ending, money won’t save them. Maybe they’ll shrivel up in their bunkers or spaceships and without the support of the collective, they will die off. The people united will never be defeated. Facts.
Fighting for the People: Pluto in Aquarius
In this same fucked up country, we started our Pluto in Aquarius era with a bang. On December 4th, 2024, just two weeks after Pluto entered Aquarius, Luigi Mangioni shot and killed the CEO of the largest private health insurance company in the U.S. The U.S. healthcare system is an industry fully embedded in the evil unfair tactics of American capitalism.
No matter how you feel about the morality around this guy killing a CEO, this entire case represents the struggle of the American people. People are sick of being exploited by a system that leaves them constantly struggling for money while billionaires have so much money they can’t even spend it all in their lifetime. This is a very necessary conversation we’re having right now. Did we need Luigi to kill a CEO to get there? I don’t know. Maybe. Maybe people are tired of waiting for politicians to change things and then being disappointed. What other tactics are there now? End of the old ways to create way for the new ways. Very Plutonian.
Pluto is now officially in Aquarius for the next almost 20 years until 2043. Aquarius in Latin translates to water bearer. The constellation of Aquarius in the sky resembles a jug pouring water out into the cosmos, replenishing the source of life for the collective. This is why Aquarius is the sign of the people: archetypally, Aquarius shares the life-giving water as a way to uplift the collective good rather than just the individual. As an intellectual air sign, it also represents progressive thinking and innovating new ways to make things work better for everyone – not just the wealthy few.
All of this said, the seeds of the revolution are being planted now. Who knows how these seeds will blossom in the coming years? Class consciousness is rising. The tides are already turning.
Class Solidarity
Under Pluto in Capricorn, the right wing successfully mobilized the alt-right with enticing conspiracies as to why the system isn’t working for them – only their marketing campaigns are built mostly on misinformation and lies. Under Pluto in Aquarius, maybe those lies will become exposed through the generosity of that Aquarian water pouring into our cosmic consciousness, waking up to our own power as a collective.
Maybe the best thing we can hope for is for a working-class solidarity to emerge across party lines. Perhaps over the next several years we’ll build towards a general strike in May 2028, like the one being organized by Shawn Fain, president of the United Auto Workers (UAW), one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America. Imagine the power the people can take back in four years. By 2029, we’ll be so fed up with orange man’s misled dumb ass fascism, the people will revolt. And if we come together, we can win.
The biggest threat to American capitalist oppression is class solidarity. That’s why the government has taken down major socialists who are talented at uniting people across party lines. Like for example how the FBI illegally killed Fred Hampton, who created the Rainbow Coalition, an anti-racist working-class multicultural movement founded in 1969. Theories exist about how the same thing might have happened to Martin Luther King Jr., arguably the most talented socialist organizer America has ever seen, who was killed just the year before Hampton in 1968.
If we look at past eras when Pluto was in Aquarius, there’s a lot of evidence of revolutions where the proletariat gained power. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was 1778 to 1798, which was a massive time of uprisings and change around the world. A few key world events that happened during that time include:
French Revolution
Haitian Revolution
Age of Enlightenment
Industrial Revolution
Irish Uprising
American Revolution
Eat the Rich: Revolution Isn’t Easy
Now, we can’t sugar coat it: revolution isn’t easy. The entire upheaval of a society for foundational change is going to be uncomfortable and tragic as fuck. Let’s look at the French Revolution as an example.
The French Revolution officially began in July of 1789 – commonly known as Bastille Day –when a group of working class people stormed Bastille, an old medieval prison that held political prisoners, symbolizing the abuse of the monarchy’s power. The people were sick of living in absolute destitution while being exploited by King Louis XVI who was facing financial collapse for investing in the American Revolutionary war. Classic rich white guy shit.
As written in Jacobin’s “Guide to the French Revolution”, the movement would then go on to “topple the absolute monarchy of Louis XVI, divest the nobility of their hereditary power, and completely undermine the political influence of the Catholic Church.” Those are some huge proletariat successes! However, those years were really challenging. People were starving and there was a ton of political unrest. Although the working class made gains, eventually, the revolution became fragmented and lost control. This led way to the emergence of Napoleon Bonaparte who overturned a lot of that progress and re-instated the old conservative, monarchist ways of the France before.
However, despite that outcome, the French Revolution has had a significant impact on working class politics around the world. To this day, history is permanently impacted by it as this movement was able to “sweep away the armies of the old regimes of Europe like straw.” That is something huge. That is not nothing.
During this time, German philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau mused, “When the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich.” That still stands true today. What will happen when Elon Musk absorbs all the money and power in the entire country? Maybe we’ll just eat him.
Revolution Happens Through a Series of Strikes
Leading up to the revolution, France experienced so many workers strikes. In America at this very moment as I’m writing this, there are so many workers strikes occurring or concluding, including:
A series of strikes build to revolution. We’ve seen it in the past. It’s happening now. Where could we get in 2029 if workers unite together? My hope is the revolution will topple the old outdated power structures no longer serving us to make room for structures that benefit all people to live a more dignified life. Why the fuck else are we here? Not to kill each other – we need each other. When we learn that and if we can find a way to work together, we’ll survive this mess called life.
Revolution the world needs! We need ..!
